As an adopted child and a parent of two adoptive children, all I can just say is "Hey Dad, grow a F'ing pair!!" Was it not a nice thing for an adoptive child to hear? Sure. But she's ten years old. How long are you going to wait to sit down and talk with her about it?
If that is the worst thing she hears in her life about being adopted then she'll have lived a very sheltered life. I understand being protective of your children, but life is tough/cruel...
If done right it shouldn't gimp it. KZ3 is a prime example of the Move being used correctly in a FPS.
